and my girls in piyali!!!!! :D these girls truly, are the most beautiful intelligent young women that i have ever met. I'm so happy to see them enjoying the new school building. The first time I went to the school, the girls were studying in a building that was like a hut!!
And this is da tee that I designed for People Tree to help raise awarness of the School! :D

I also visited a Fair Trade work shop in Calcutta called Silence !!!
These guys are so sweet, most of them are death or can't talk - the work shop trains them to learn
skills, like candle making so they have a job and are not on the streets with no work! yay! :D

I also visited the Sasha work shop in Brindaban, another long drive outside of Calcutta. yar . These dudes are trained to do silk printing, with organic ink! :D
hehe! Meet one of my new sponsors, Mansura who is 5 years old! She is such a cutie HUH!! hehe, the school took the girls to see Cinderella as a treat because they didn't miss one day of school for the whole year!! :D Was so much fun! :D

I am so proud to be half indian. It is one of the most incredible places that I have ever been too - the people, the food - the sense of humour! And the love!!! That I want to do everything that I can do, to make sure girls are educated and boys, to stop all the crazy nasty things that happen... yar!
